Back late last night from an amazing and epic pilgrimage and retreat on the Camino Ingles with three good friends.  There will be many tales to tell and reflections to be had over the next little while and beyond.  Thanks to those who thought and prayed about us.  Prayers were made for all who asked in the worst walking conditions any of us could remember …

More soon – Hasta Luego!

Read less about it!
Get to your starting point and just start walking.
Don’t fill your imagination with facts, mile markers, tips, advice and past pilgrims’ musings. Go, enjoy, suffer a little and have your own experience! If you are in reasonable health and can recognize a yellow arrow when you see it, you’re ready to start. You may not be ready for what you encounter on it, but you’ll be ready to start. Relax!

Thanks Julie – I understand where you’re coming from, and one of the great blessings of the Camino for me has been less worrying and more trusting.

However, the Camino routes this blog deals with – especially the Levante from Valencia – are very solitary, not well marked, and have some very long stages with no water. You do need to plan these.

And there is – at least for me – a lot of pleasure in dreaming about the next pilgrimage.

pax et bonum
