Being the only Spanish speaker among the many English speaking pilgrims (then friends) I met in my 2014 Camino, we all agreed we were going together to the mass in English the day after we arrived to Santiago, upon seeing the sign in the small chapel. The following day we met Father Gerard in this mass and we had the best ending for our Camino we could ever have hoped for.
A few days after, it was the last mass of Fr. Gerard, he was returning to England, In that last Saturday mass he blessed my New Zealanders Friends when renewing their 30 years wedding votes and I also met Johnny Walker, the legendary pilgrim and blogger…
Any support to keep the Camino Chaplaincy running is such an incredible contribution for the world! Posting this brought me beautiful memories! As always, thanks Andy! Hope your wife keeps healing!
