Walked today with Roland from.Skewen, where we left off yesterday to Cefneithin. Near enough 19 miles. The geography here with river crossings and big road junctions meant road walking. A soft day with light rain or murk; few photos

But a good day. My companion’s local knowledge meant plenty of chances to slake our thirst and refuel. Roland got the trinity of scratchings, bacon roll and pork pie. I was holding out for lomo.

We walked past the DVLA Building. It is a mythical building, so high that the top is always in the clouds.

I saluted Maddy and John as we drank a pint of Bwlch Passage.

This has been a good, rich few days. I am thoroughly enjoying the first few days of this pilgrimage. Prayers for you
